One of our cotagonists. Elise was scandalized at first by Sol's vulgarity and the horrible conditions she used to live in, but now they're actually on good terms, and Sol reached out to her after she quit as the mole. They talked before about the awful things murderschool has forced everyone into and Elise wants Sol to end up in a better place.

A child soldier who acts like a mature adult. Elise respects Jean for his help during investigations and trials, and she's very sorry that she almost sabotaged him.

Elise has always been put off by Susan the gloomy pessimist, but she's helped with the chickens and she was very close with Hibiki. Susan's very helpful in investigations as well, and everyone relies on her. Elise wants her to be okay.

Public enemy number one for quite some time, though in the weeks since Asuka's death and after seeing her torturous execution, Elise has started to feel bad for Asuka -- maybe she was less of a monster than just someone who was just as desperate as Elise was. Sorry you inspired her to ask if she could mess with evidence. At least the Conductor said no?

LOGAN
A cultured and serious king who became the group's leader after losing his dear friend (crush? boyfriend???) and ended up getting stabbed and eaten by the shadow creature. Maybe Elise should've signed up for patrols. She had the assurance that it wouldn't touch her... then again, she also wouldn't have tried to shank the thing.

Hibiki confused Elise a lot, as a celebrity who acted down-to-earth like the townspeople, but became Elise's closest friend in the school with her stories of having a friend back home who was like her, bonding over feeling more alone than they should, and Hibiki's love for animals. Elise remembered caring more about her own animals and they bonded a lot over the chickens... poor Hibiki. She trusted Elise.

Are all poor people this strange? She seemed very happy for someone who's had to live in squalor -- Elise can barely imagine it. Horrifying. Sukuyo was confusing, but a mother to everyone, and something about how she couldn't have hope for herself to make a difference on her own terms makes Elise sad.

Sapient underwear is an affront to all things sensible and insulting the people Elise likes is deplorable, so Blue was low on Elise's to-acknowledge list, but then they both turned out to be in the same situation. Being played by the Conductor got them to open up to one another, and she believes Blue's right about trusting the others even if it's stupid.

An important businessman who seems just as lost as she is and owns a giant wasp with drills for hands. Elise does like talking to him, even if the conversations usually go in the "your world's weird" direction, and she's grateful that he didn't jump to wanting revenge on the moles.

He might have been a little odd at points, not to mention actually defending his disgusting grandfather more than once, but Elise still didn't think he deserved to die. Especially since his death led to three more.

RICK SANCHEZ
Elise despised Rick to begin with, but at least in week one it was just for fart jokes and public intoxication. Since then, his offences kept racking up until he became unforgivable, even by "I sold out the entire class on a regular basis" standards. He should have at least killed someone who deserved it (read: Elise herself). She still wants to revive Rick with the others if only because his grandson would probably be sad about it otherwise, but she's definitely going to slap him as soon as he's back. Bring it on, dirty idol-killer.

Someone young but hardened, like the soldier, but Weiss understands the lowered standards here and how everything should be so much easier. Elise found her one of the easiest captives to talk to and still does, even now. Weiss also taught her a few things about swords, though Elise isn't sure she'll have to fight with one.

At least she's helped everyone with laundry, but there's something a little odd about her, isn't there? Even so, Youko seems to be opening up, and she encouraged Elise when she was showing regret (though she hadn't said about what). Elise hopes Youko's doing okay after losing Logan.

He seemed to hate her, and she has no idea why. It can't be because she wants people to do everything for her and doesn't want to be told what to do and mutilated that... thing that was not cream puffs, can it? An adult who looked like a kid, took pictures of every little thing, and hung around with cannibals who dressed like they picked up random items out of a drawer. Elise didn't understand it, but she still feels for Chie, especially since the motive pressed her so hard.

Always seemed to be afraid that someone was going to kill her, but when she finally got over that fear, someone did. It messed Elise up pretty badly, and even the Conductor was furious. Ashley trusted Elise, who was betraying everyone, and that's hung over her for days. She hopes Ashley doesn't hate her.

Elise trusted and believed in the Conductor's code of equal exchange and fair play, but she slowly started to feel bad about betraying the others and started leaving things out of her reports. When this came back to bite her, she quit on principle... and then he sold out all three moles. Good job, Mr. Conductor. You lose all your stars.
